David Harold Tribe (b. 1931), who became a Life Member of the Humanist Society of NSW in 2011, has died aged 85.
David was sick and briefly in the Royal North Shore Hospital. They then transferred him to Montana Nursing Home in Mosman.
On the evening of 30 May 2017 he died there, some time after having eaten supper. We are told he died peacefully.
He did not have many lucid moments in the final days, and unfortunately none of our members were able to visit him at a time when he was awake.
David requested no funeral.
